Information and invites via electronic mailouts and SMS
It is easy to prepare an information email or SMS message and send it to participants when they have registered or bought tickets. This can give each participant access to links and practical information for connecting to the event. Alternatively, there could be two or three mailouts with the crucial link being sent close to the event (e.g. one hour before).
If you are moving an already booked physical event to the internet, it is, of course, vital to provide early information of this in all social channels. Similarly, communicating with registered participants directly via email (or, perhaps, SMS) is a must.
